If your Vagustim device isn't connecting to the app, it's usually related to the connection process rather than the device itself.
Before troubleshooting, please check the following:
- Make sure your device is powered on.
- Ensure the battery is charged.
- Keep your phone close to the device.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Allow the Vagustim app to access Bluetooth and, if prompted, Local Network and Location permissions.
- Do not pair the device through your phone's Bluetooth settings. Vagustim connects directly through the Vagustim app.
To connect:
- Open the Vagustim app.
- Tap Connect Your Vagustim.
- Wait for the app to discover your device and follow the on-screen prompts.
A successful connection is indicated by the middle LED solid blue.
If your device still isn't found, try these steps:
- Close and reopen the Vagustim app.
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- Restart your phone.
- Make sure the device isn't already connected to another phone or tablet.
- If your device appears in your phone's Bluetooth settings, tap Forget This Device (if applicable) and reconnect through the Vagustim app instead.
If you're still unable to connect, please contact our support team and include:
- Your order number
- Your device serial number
- Your app account email address
- Your App ID (found at the top of the Profile page)
- Your phone model and operating system (iPhone/Android)
- A short video showing the connection attempt, if possible
