Your Vagustim sessions should always be comfortable. If the earsets feel painful or your ears become irritated, we recommend stopping the session and making a few adjustments before using the device again.
Try the following:
- Reduce the intensity to a comfortable level.
- Make sure the earsets are resting gently on the tragus and cymba concha without excessive pressure.
- Try a different Small, Medium, or Large spacer to find a more comfortable fit.
- Apply conductive spray or conductive gel before each session to improve contact.
- Start with shorter sessions while you become accustomed to wearing the earsets.
A small amount of temporary redness where the earsets contact the skin can be normal and should fade shortly after the session.
If you experience persistent discomfort, skin irritation, or the earsets remain uncomfortable despite adjusting the fit, stop using the device and contact our support team. We may ask you to send a few photos of the earsets while you're wearing them so we can review the placement and provide personalized recommendations.
