If your Vagustim device won't turn on, doesn't appear to charge, or the battery seems to drain unusually quickly, try the following steps before contacting support.
1. Check the Charging Equipment
- Use the supplied USB charging cable if available.
- Try a different USB cable and a different wall charger.
- Charge the battery for at least 3 hours.
2. Check the Charging LEDs
While charging, the purple LEDs indicate the battery level:
- 0 to 35%: Left LED blinking purple
- 35 to 65%: Left LED solid purple, middle LED blinking purple
- 65 to 95%: Left and middle LEDs solid purple, right LED blinking purple
- 95 to 100%: All three LEDs solid purple
If no LEDs illuminate while charging, continue with the next steps.
3. Reinstall the Battery
- Remove the battery from the device.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery.
- Try powering the device on again.
4. Check the Battery Level
With the device powered on:
- Press both − (minus) buttons simultaneously for approximately 1 second.
The LEDs will display the current battery level.
5. Run the Device Functionality Test
If the device powers on but you're still experiencing charging or performance issues, we recommend running the Device Functionality Test.
For the Vagustim Device (Vagustim App)
- Open the Vagustim app.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Support.
- Select Device Functionality Test.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
For the Vagustim Plus Device (Vagustim Plus App)
- Open the Vagustim Plus app and connect your device.
- Go to Products and select your connected device.
- Tap the pen (edit) icon.
- Open Product Details.
- Scroll down and select Device Functionality Test.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
The test results are automatically sent to our support team.
Still Having Trouble?
If the device:
- Does not power on after charging
- Shows no charging LEDs
- Only works while connected to the charger
- Drains unusually quickly
- Continues to show abnormal battery behavior after trying different chargers and cables
- Does not pass the Device Functionality Test
