Do not use Vagustim if you:
- Are under 18 years of age unless advised and supervised by a qualified healthcare professional.
- Are pregnant.
- Have an implanted electronic medical device, such as a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), cardiac stimulator, or cochlear (ear) implant.
- Have an open wound, infection, or significant skin irritation on or around the ear where the earsets are placed.
- Are under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or sedative medications that may impair your awareness.
For your safety, you should also:
- Do not use Vagustim while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or performing activities that require your full attention.
- Use the device only on clean, dry, intact skin.
- Do not use the device while bathing, showering, swimming, or when your ears are wet.
- Do not use the device near strong electromagnetic equipment, such as an MRI scanner.
