If you've started a session but don't feel any stimulation, don't worry. This is usually related to the intensity level, earset contact, or placement rather than the device itself.
Please check the following:
- Make sure you've selected a program and tapped Start.
- Gradually increase the intensity on both the left and right channels. Sessions always begin at a low intensity, so you may not feel anything until you increase it.
- Choose an intensity that is noticeable but comfortable. More intensity does not necessarily mean better results.
- Apply a generous amount of conductive spray or conductive gel to both contact points on the earsets before each session.
- Ensure the earsets are positioned correctly so the contact points rest on the tragus and cymba concha of the ear.
- If the earsets move during the session, readjust them until they sit securely.
During the session, check the contact indicators:
- Solid green indicates good contact.
- Blinking green indicates the contact is unstable and the earsets should be adjusted.
If you've increased the intensity and still don't feel stimulation, try swapping the left and right earsets. If the issue follows the earset, it may indicate an earset-related problem. If it remains on the same side, it may help us identify whether the issue is with the device or the contact.
If the problem continues, please run the Device Functionality Test:
For the Vagustim App:
- Open the Vagustim app.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Support.
- Select Device Functionality Test and follow the on-screen instructions.
If the issue persists after completing these steps, please contact our support team with your order number, device serial number, and a short description of what you're experiencing. We'll be happy to help you troubleshoot further.
