If you've increased the intensity and still don't feel stimulation, or one side feels weaker than the other, there are a few simple checks that can help identify the cause.
1. Check the Earset Contact
- Apply a generous amount of conductive spray or conductive gel to the earsets.
- Make sure the earsets are correctly positioned on the tragus and cymba concha.
- Verify that the contact indicators are solid green. If they are blinking green, adjust the earsets until stable contact is achieved.
2. Perform a Finger Test
This helps determine whether the device is producing stimulation.
- Remove the earsets from your ears.
- Apply a small amount of conductive gel or water to your thumb and index finger.
- Gently pinch the two metal contact points of one earset between your fingers.
- Slowly increase the intensity.
If you feel a tingling sensation on your fingers, the device is producing output correctly. The issue is more likely related to earset placement, fit, or contact with your ear.
3. Swap the Left and Right Earsets
Disconnect both earsets and swap them between the left and right ports.
- If the issue moves with the earset, the earset may need to be replaced.
- If the issue stays on the same side of the device, the problem may be related to the device channel or contact.
