No. Vagustim must only be used with the original accessories specified and provided by the manufacturer.
Third-party devices and accessories
Do not use Vagustim with any third-party external devices, and do not attempt to use third-party connectors designed for other vagus activation solutions. Likewise, Vagustim earsets should not be used with third-party solutions.
Using accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer may cause inaccurate readings or damage to you and/or the product. Vagustim also cannot control or ensure the adaptability of its products with third-party hardware or software.
Other electrical stimulation devices
Do not use Vagustim while you are using another electrical product, such as a TENS unit or muscle stimulator.
Metal and electronics
Before using the product, remove all metal jewellery and electronics that could interfere with Vagustim, paying particular attention to your ears and the surrounding area.
Electromagnetic environments
Vagustim may yield inaccurate readings if operated in the presence of strong electromagnetic sources, such as electrosurgical or computed tomography (CT) equipment. It should also not be used in the presence of strong electromagnetic fields, such as MRI scanners.
